Little Hero Apartments was the first project of its type in Melbourne. It features a combination of Nu Wall Aero 115 finished in Interpon Bass, with Alucobond spectra ocean and white forming a complementary main feature The process began with units manufactured in a factory process with all cladding features fitted along with all internal requirements, loaded on to specially modified semi-trailers transported to site and simply craned into position.

The architects behind this unique Alucobond façade were Ascui Edwards. Without the off-site capablility to make individual modules this project would have been virtually impossible to create. As it was the façade was able to be craned into place within a few days.

The Epping Medical Centre was the first project that Cladding Systems completed with the involvement of Silver Thomas Hanley Architects.

The Eye Carlton saw Window Module Pre-Clad in Alucobond Silver Metallic and craned into position. The Feature Eye, again in Silver Metallic, along with the Parapet Area.

Location: Main Street Thomastown VIC

The Thomastown Recreation and Aquatic Centre saw Cladding Systems appointed by WATPAC as the Alucobond installer. The project used a combination of Alucobond colours to all feature canopies walls and was also used internally to form the feature covers over the swimming pool privacy screen housing.

This project offered significant design challenges. Fortunately Cladding Systems had the resources to enable to majority of the feature work to be pre-fabricated off site. 394 Individual balcony balustrades were manufactured in our factory and delivered to site and installed in 28 working days. The silver feature blades (not shown) were constructed in Cladding Systems factory in 4 sections and transported to site, then installed under tight site conditions via crane. The client received savings in structural steel and a reduced installation time frame.
